Because independent thinking is emphasized in the Knox curriculum, and because you have so many opportunities to practice your skills through internships and other real-world activities, by the time you graduate, you'll be prepared to meet the challenges of a fluid global community-an essential ability for so many of today's career paths.

Knox graduates successfully pursue a wide variety of careers in business, the sciences, the arts, social services, and foreign affairs. They become attorneys, physicians, CEOs, college professors, computer programmers, teachers, artists, writers, business consultants, and diplomats, recruited by such high profile employers as Citibank, Accenture, Abbott Laboratories, United Press International, the Peace Corps, NATO, Zurich Investments, Boeing, Loyola Hospitals, and The White House.

The Office of Career and Pre-Professional Development can assist you in identifying and landing that first job after you graduate (and will continue to assist you in career moves throughout your lifetime). It certainly helps that because your professors will know you so well, they can write glowing letters of recommendation and make phone calls on your behalf.
