Physics Club

Do you love physics? Have you often wondered what happens at the infamous annual Egg Drop?

If so, check out Knox's chapter of the national Society of Physics Students, and join Physics Club!

Physics Club sponsors many fun and educational events throughout each year. Some past events have included:

  • Weekly viewing nights, during which everyone on campus is invited to view the heavens through telescopes
  • A weekly Physics Table for lunch and general meetings
  • Films and field trips
  • Guest speakers, such as local ophthalmologist and alumni Dr. James Ruppel ’69, who gave a seminar on “Physics as Career Preparation: Physics in Ophthalmology,”
  • The annual Physics Spring Picnic, home of the famous Egg Drop competition—an “egg-citing” event you won’t want to miss!
Broaden your understanding of and interest in the world of physics and join the club.
